Originally from Dublin, Deirdre Maguire started dancing at the age of five. At sixteen, she joined Riverdance and performed worldwide. She met her husband Michael Maguire in Killarney who was also a troupe dancer. Deirdre moved to London to study graphic design in 2006. Michael began studying early years education and during their studies, they both continued to perform in places like Dubai, Egypt, Lebanon, Kazakhstan, Qatar, China, Korea, France, Holland and Stockholm to name a few. They are honoured to be featured in the Riverdance in Beijing DVD in 2010.  Their last tour was with Ant and Dec where they performed in cities all over the UK. 

Deirdre and Michael settled in London and they soon set up their first adult class in East London. Their work brought them to Switzerland where they were the principle teachers in their Swiss school from 2014 to 2022. Deirdre and Michael received their TCRG (teaching qualification) and continued to grow their London class. In 2015 Deirdre and Michael got married in Trim Castle where they performed for their guests.   

Michael is now a specialised mathematics teacher. By day, Deirdre runs a newborn and family photography business and at night, she runs two adult Irish dance classes in Central (Wednesday) and East London (Monday). They have three children still enjoy performing together to this day at weddings and local events.
